Phil National Lines Tugboat 'Phil Leyte' Rescues 17 Crew After Allision Incident During Storm 'Enteng' in Navotas

In a dramatic display of maritime heroism, M/Tug “Phil Leyte,” a vessel operated by Phil National Lines Inc., successfully rescued 17 crew members from M/V Kamilla amid the severe tropical storm “Enteng.” The dramatic rescue occurred following an allision incident that led to a fire onboard the M/V Kamilla.
As the storm battered the region, M/Tug “Phil Leyte” was in proximity to the incident and responded promptly and efficiently. The crew of M/Tug “Phil Leyte” executed a swift and coordinated rescue operation, ensuring the safe retrieval of all 17
crew members from the stricken vessel. The rescued crew were subsequently transported to the Coast Guard Sub-station in Navotas for medical attention and further assistance.
