During Storm Enteng, MT Phil Leyte responded to an allision and subsequent fire off Navotas in Manila Bay, working alongside the Philippine Coast Guard to rescue 17 crew members from the stricken vessel.

The PNL crew navigated deteriorating conditions to reach the scene and bring every person aboard to safety.
